The Keyweb Private Cloud is based on the concept of saving expensive licensing costs. The combination of Linux operating system and the virtualisation platform Proxmox – both open source software - and our customised server management panel KeyHelp® Pro make your cloud servers extra secure and ensure the best possible performance operation. But if you need a Windows-based cloud solution, we will be happy to make this possible for you as well. However, the licence costs would then of course be incurred by you.

An important advantage of a private cloud structure is clearly the exclusive use of the cloud servers. You do not have to share your cloud with anyone else. Therefore, a private cloud is predestined to combine your local IT infrastructure with the advantages of a cloud and still maintain a very high data protection standard. Of course, you can also implement a hybrid cloud structure with your Keyweb Private Cloud in combination with an external Public Cloud.

Pay-as-you-use is a consumption-based billing model which means that you pay for the resources you use. For some companies, consumption-based pricing models can be very cost-attractive, for example if performance behaviour very rarely or almost never exceeds capacity. However, if usage is very fluctuating, constantly high or foreseeably high in the long term, this type of billing can also result in very unpredictable bills. This means that there is no direct planning certainty and the actual costs are difficult to estimate. Especially because the provider controls all components.
